The City of New Florence has a Mayor-City Administrator-Aldermen form of government. The Board of Aldermen is the governing body of the City, elected by the public.
The City of New Florence employs a talented and dynamic workforce of more than 15 employees who serve the City and its residents under the leadership and direction of the City Administrator. The City Administrator is appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen and is responsible for the implementation of policies and decisions made by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
The City of New Florence is organized into departments, each managed by a professional, municipal department head who works diligently every day to meet residents' government service needs.
